What the work covers
Integration design and acceptance: Axialy specifies how security systems work together, then writes and witnesses the acceptance tests that check the delivered system against that specification. It does not supply, install or configure equipment.
Design
Video surveillance and recording design
Client receives
Coverage requirements per area, camera schedule, storage and retention sizing, server and network architecture, VMS requirements, hardening and product-origin requirements written to the client's security guidance.
Boundary
Device layout drawings are produced by the project's CAD drafter or the integrator, from Axialy's coverage requirements.
Integration architecture and interface specification
Client receives
A system context diagram and an interface list. For each link between video, access control, intrusion detection and the client's other systems: the events and commands that cross, the interface used (an ONVIF profile both sides conform to, such as Profile T, G or M, or a vendor SDK or API), the time source, the behavior when either side fails, and the test that proves it.
Boundary
Axialy specifies the interfaces. The integrator or software house builds and configures them. Experience to date covers video platforms and the alarms handled in them.
Access control design
Client receives
Door and portal schedule, credential and reader requirements including the reader-to-controller link (OSDP with Secure Channel), controller and network architecture, door behavior on power or network loss, interfaces to video, intrusion detection and the fire alarm system, tender documents, acceptance protocols.
Boundary
Escape routes and fire release are signed off by the project's fire and life-safety consultant. Delivered work to date is video and recording. Access control is designed with the same requirements, tender and acceptance method.
Intrusion detection and alarm handling design
Client receives
Detection requirements per zone, sensor and panel requirements, alarm priorities and handling rules in the video platform and the control room, tender documents, acceptance protocols.
Boundary
Experience to date is alarms integrated into video platforms.
Procurement
Specification and tender support
Client receives
Technical specification, bill of quantities, evaluation criteria, answers to bidders' technical questions, bid comparison with a written recommendation.
Boundary
Contract and tender law stay with the client's procurement and legal staff. Axialy works for no bidder on a procurement it helped prepare.
Bid support for primes and integrators
Client receives
The technical volume of a tender response: solution design, a compliance matrix against the specification, and answers to the technical questions.
Boundary
Pricing and commercial terms stay with the bidder. On a procurement where Axialy supports a bidder, it takes no role for the owner.
Delivery
Delivery oversight and acceptance testing
Client receives
Review of integrator submittals and detailed design against the specification, review of interface documents, factory and site acceptance protocols, witnessed tests with written results, a defect list, handover criteria.
Boundary
Axialy reviews and witnesses. Its review does not take over the integrator's responsibility for its detailed design, and acceptance is the client's decision.
Embedded architect or program manager
Client receives
A solution architect or program manager inside the owner's or the prime contractor's team, part time or full time, for requirements, interface design, supplier coordination and acceptance planning.
Boundary
One side per procurement. Axialy designs and manages, and does not configure or install.
